This breathtaking flying tour will take you eastbound from North Weald Airfield.
This will be a perfect opportunity to take in the Essex countryside whilst learning about the light aircraft you are flying in!
Flying overhead the City of Chelmsford you will soon see the Blackwater Estuary ahead as your qualified flight instructor routes you towards Northey Island located just east of Maldon before passing overhead Osea Island. Your pilot will descend to a lower level and follow the coast line to Mersea island before routing back towards North Weald.
This is a great flight which gives you the opportunity to see the beautiful coastline with its many creeks from your vantage point above the estuary.
Depending on the time of year you may also be lucky enough to see some of the few remaining historic red sailed Thames Barges gliding serenely along the Blackwater or even seals basking on the mudflats!

Friends & Family: You are more than welcome to bring your friends and family along to spectate from the ground. We have seating inside and outside and offer fantastic views of the apron and runways. Drinks and snacks are available.
Safety: Your safety is paramount to us! All of our aircraft are maintained to the strictest safety standards, and you’ll be given a safety briefing by your fully CAA certified flight instructor before your flight commences.
Weather / ATC: If the weather or Air Traffic Control means we are unable to fly on the day of your event, we’ll let you know and re-arrange at no charge.
