Night Rating
Key Info
A night rating allows a pilot to fly at night exorcising visual flight rules. If a pilot wishes to fly at night using instrument flight rules you will also need to have a instrument rating.

Requirements

5 hours of flight time at night, including at least 3 hours of dual instruction, including at least 1 hour of cross country flight of at least 50km and 5 solo take off 5 solo full stop landings

There is no requirement for a skills test

The night rating must be completed within 6 months of commencement
