To operate a radio within an aircraft you must hold a flight radiotelephony operators licence (FRTOL).

We deliver an exciting communications course that will prepare you for your practical test.

We will work through the CAA training syllabus that is required to be signed before the candidate is presented to the examiner. 

​

This course is run on set dates throughout the year.

​

This course will also provide valuable information for pilots that are not feeling confident on the radio, or maybe have learnt outside of the UK.

All FRTOL practical tests are taken here at NWFT with one of our in-house examiners.
